Him and I when we put our minds together can move mountains. Yes im talking about Phil Crha and his LayedOut cc Cruising every weekend with their beautiful pieces of art bouncing down the streets of Victoria. What him and his car club does for the community with The Field of dreams, their annual Christmas toy drive. Big thank you to you and your whole crew!

Join me, Light Em' Up.TV on September 15th from 11am-5pm for my Mayfair Mall rooftop Season End Park & Chill Car event!
There will be automotive local vendors, prizes, cash draw, music and more!
I will be having a kids power wheels competition, so parents, get your kids to customize their power wheels and bring it down to the event to show em' off! There will be top power wheel trophies awarded to the top 3 coolest power wheels!
Mayfair mall would like for all the attendees, spectators to enjoy the mall amenities, shopping and the food court with a variety of delicious eats!
Any cars that would like to be in the VIP show areas are strongly encouraged to register by donation. Either $10, $15, $20 can be donated to cover the event costs & insurance of hosting this event. ALL cars who do register will have a chance to win 4 top class trophies;

ALL makes & models are welcome! Also any vehicle that registers by donation will be given a raffle ticket to enter in to win any of the multiple sponsor prize packs from our amazing local sponsors! To those who attended the last event at the Mayfair rooftop, the same parking and entry levels apply. To those who haven't, I will be posting another parking and lot navigation video on the event page!

Big shout out to these 7. Appreciate you guys taking the time out to volunteer for the Mayfair event. Overall things went smoothly and I couldn't have done it without all your help.

Most of you don't know that this recent Mayfair car event cost me out of pocket about $600 for a required 5 million Liability insurance and a few other costs with this contracted location. I was approached by Concetta Anne McIntyre and her Daughter Maya McIntyre who is a representative for a local charitable organization VIDEA. She offered to attend my Mayfair meet and generously collect donations on behalf of her organization and also collect money to cover the cost of hosting the event. It was a very last minute decision with just a few days to prepare, however she was able to collect $400 in donations, $200 for her organization and $200 towards the event costs. I'm happy to announce that I will be making a total donation towards Videa of the entire $400 amount Maya collected.
BIG thank you to everyone who donated, the 1 booth Sponsor, Happy Endings who also Donated. Appreciate you all.
My next event will have some very minor entry fees, raffles and donations again to not only spread the love throughout our amazing community but to also cover the cost of hosting these events for all you car owners, enthusiasts and car lovers!

MAY 17TH, 18TH, 19TH
DIAMOND RALLY ROLLS INTO GREATER VICTORIA AREA MAY 17TH, TRACK DAY AY VIMC ON MAY 18TH AND VICTORIA DAY PARADE ON THE 19TH!
The Diamond Rally 2024 rolls into Victoria with dozens of supercars and a 1 of 99 Pagani Utopia coming all the way from Florida! I catch all the action as they start the rally off at Fairmont Empress Hotel in Victoria on the 17th, then headed up for a full open track day at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit on the 19th and I end the weekend off by joining the rally with a cruise down Douglas St. during the 2024 Victoria parade. I cant wait until next year for the 2025 Diamond Rally.

40TH ANNIVERSARY VICTORIA AUTO RACING HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY AT ELEMENTS CASINO, VIEW ROYAL, BC
Victoria Racing Hall of Fame hosts its 40th annual Induction Ceremony Event at Elements Casio in Colwood, BC. With approx. 200 attendees, dozens of Hall of Famers and families Light Em UP.TV was there to capture every moment of this memorable event! Congratulations to Inductees Jeff Montgomery , Don Cummins Pioneers Currier Bros. Mike Bill John and Pat And Chuck Gust (MidIsland engines) So many Inductees came out to support our 40th Including 102 year old Hall of Famer Dave Cooper! VIKA - VANCOUVER ISLAND KARTING ASSOCIATION OPENS THE 2024 SEASON WITH THE WINTER SERIES!
Kicking off the VIKA 2024 racing year with the opening winter series at Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit. Multiple classes from young and old zip around the track for the chance to win bragging rights and VIKA trophies. COR VICTORIA HOSTS ITS 2ND ANNUAL IOCC OFF ROAD CARPET CHAMPIONSHIP
COWICHAN EXIBITION, COWICHAN, BC!
Cor Victoria hosted it's 2nd annual IOCC Championship up in Cowichan at the Cowichan Exhibition Center and I was hired to shoot the action!. With dozens of racers, sponsors and spectators, this event is the biggest on the Island! It was definitely a challenge to try and capture these carpet RC machines as they ripped around the large track. Multiple classes attended, great food from Smitty's Pulled pork truck, tons of awesome trophies and and overall exciting weekend event! Check out COR Victoria's Facebook page below!

SHC WHEEL & TIRE SHOP PRESENTS THE 2024 MOTORSPORTS SPECTACULAR SHOW!
The Motorsports Spectacular Monster Truck and Freestyle Dirt bike Show at Save On Memorial downtown Victoria. It was another great display of these massive trucks getting massive air, tearing up the dirt and even spitting fire! The freestyle show was incredible with 3 talented dirt bike riders flying through the air pulling off tricks that made the crowd go wild! Special thank you to SHC Wheel & Tire Super Shop for the invite to capture another amazing event!

NEW YEARS DAY CRUISE WITH THE VINTAGE CAR CLUB OF CANADA VICTORIA, BC CHAPTER
Kick off the 2024 year with some 3 dozen beautiful classics and vintage cars take to the streets in and around the outskirts of Victoria, Bc on the VCCC annual New Years Day cruise January 1st 2024.
2023 YEAR IN REVIEW
2023 was a HUGE year! Starting off the year with being hired to design Vancouver Island Karting Association (VIKA) 2023 Race schedule back in January 2023. Also attended and photographed/videoed the VIKA winter series, Summer Series and BC regional Championships held at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit. From there throughout early 2023, I designed some Hero cards for some of the Kart drivers of the VIKA Club. Johnny Sutton, Dale Taylor and Jamie Coles all gave me the opportunity to design them some custom Hero cards and some racing T Shirt apparel.
Throughout the 2023 year Light Em'Up.TV covered multiple car meets, car shows, events, cruises and took thousands of photos and videos. Some of the Events that stood out was attending the Diamond Rally. Craig Stowe and Nadia Iadisernia the host & organizers of the Rally. All proceeds gathered was to The Make A Wish foundation. Dozens of Supercars graced the streets of Victoria, BC then spent a day at the VIMC Track racing the circuit. The screaming V12 engines echoing through the valley was an incredible experience! The Diamond Rally ended the weekend off attending the Victoria Day parade where I was able to drive my C7 Corvette along side some of these million dollar supercars! I can't wait for the Diamond rally 2024!
Some other awesome events that I attended this year was the Driven Show at the Hard Rock Casino in Vancouver with some of the most incredible builds I have ever layed my eyes on! Also The Tuner Bash in Mission, BC was another favorite with a huge variety of cars and some drifting action at the Mission speedway. I was also hired to shoot the 2 day IOCC RC Car championship event up in Cowichan Bay, BC. I was also welcomed back to Victoria Hall of Fame Induction ceremony for the 2nd consecutive year held at the Olympic View Golf Course at Table Nineteen. So many memorable events this year it's definitely hard to write about them all. Some amazing car shows too, The Volksfest, Oak Bay Car Show Extravaganza, The Torque Masters show in Sidney, BC and many more I attended throughout the year!
Some HUGE record breaking events this year with 3 MASSIVE car meets Hosted by Light Em'Up.TV and 1 MASSIVE car show Co-Hosted by Light Em'Up.TV. 1st event to kick off the year was the Season opener was held at the YMCA in Westhills with just over 300 cars in attendance. 2nd Event with the Summer Park n' Chill again hosted at the YMCA in the Westhills with over 300 cars! The season End'r was hosted at Saanich Plaze across from Uptown Mall with a staggering over 400 cars in attendance. It was one of the largest car meets ever to hit Victoria. There's no need for any introduction to the biggest car show to be held here in Victoria. Light Em' Up.TV Co hosted The insane 600 car, car show along side the popular Lowrider Crew Layed Out Car Club. This show in only it's 2nd year was the largest and "hands down" "best" car show that anyone has ever been to in Victoria. Already prepping for the 3rd annual Field of Dreams for 2024! Stay tuned!
A ton of great experiences and learning curves over the course of 2023. Light Em'Up.TV ended the year off with some awesome Halloween action Co-Hosting the 3rd annual M2 Graphix Trunk or Treat. Victoria Superhero's attending along with some spooktacular cars and trucks! Amazing turn out and such a great family oriented event getting the trick or treaters started early for the season! In November, VIKA welcomed me to attend, photograph, video their 1st awards ceremony hosted at Elements Casino in View Royal. Food was great, atmosphere and people were incredible. Thank you to the entire VIKA team, Gary Smith and Bram Harvey for the invite. Last but not least Layed Out's 4th annual Toy Drive for The Zone 91.3. December was a busy month with this lowrider crew with 3 big toy shopping sprees and dozens of custom lowriders packing the trucks full! Light Em' Up.TV was there camera in hand videoing the Christmas action where the Car Club was able to gather a total of $25,000 of toys, cash and gift cards to support The Zone's 91.3 Toy Drive! WOW, what a year and that was just a very small portion of all the events, car meets and more that happened in 2023! Can't wait for what 2024 brings!
It's been only 3 years now since LTV started back in December 2020! On my 4 main Social Media platforms, total combined video views hit 1.8 million and 28,000 total followers! YouTube with a total of 223.3k video views and 1403 Subs, Facebook with 789k views with 8.1k followers, Instagram with 378k video views with 14.8k followers and TikTok with 483.3k videos views with 2.81k followers. Much love for all the support! Big thank you to everyone who was a part of such a successful, and prosperous year! Here's to 2024, here's to the biggest year yet! Hope you all have a happy, healthy and safe new year!

Light Em'Up.TV had the camera rolling as Phil and his Layed Out Car Club Hop their way into this year's The Zone Toy Drive with over 10 cool lowriders and 1 huge Cadillac Limo all stuffed to the ceiling with toys, books, sporting goods and tons more! Listen as the President of Layed Out goes live on air on 91.3 The Zone!

Then on to the 2nd shop with Tyler Lister and his U9 Girls Victoria Reign Hockey team spending $4000!
Then the 3rd main shop with the LayedOut members spending a total of $12,000! WOW!

Pharoahs Vancouver Island donate $1300 on behalf of the local car club to the Layed Out's 4th annual Toy drive. I was able to catch up with them to snap a few photos of the crews exchanging words, cheques and Christmas spirit over at the Layed Out Compound.

Light, Em' Up.TV attended the annual Sidney, BC Sparkles parade along side a few of The local Torque Masters Car Club members! My kids tagged along as I decked out my 1999 OBS Chevy Tahoe in over 3500 lights! Thank you to the city of Sidney, BC for putting on a great display and to the local Hot Rod girl Nikki Bunn for the invite!
